About the Role2ndRank is looking for experienced and enthusiastic coding instructors with strong expertise in Python and Scratch to teach students through live 1:1 online classes.

You will work directly with students, explain coding concepts in a simple and engaging way, help them build problem-solving skills, and adapt your teaching according to their learning level.

This is a part-time teaching prospect for instructors who are comfortable working with international students and available during the US shift.

Responsibilities● Conduct live 1:1 coding classes for students aged 5–16.

● Teach coding concepts using Python and Scratch according to the student's level.

● Explain technical concepts in a simple, age-appropriate, and engaging manner.

● Create an interactive learning environment and encourage students to participate actively.

● Adapt teaching methods according to individual student needs and learning progress.





● Conduct demo classes for prospective students when assigned.

● Maintain regular class schedules and ensure timely attendance.

● Track student progress and provide relevant feedback.

● Use the company's mentor portal to manage classes, schedules, and assigned work.

● Communicate professionally with the internal team regarding student progress and class requirements.

Requirements● 2+ years of teaching/tutoring experience in coding.

● Strong knowledge of Python and Scratch.

● Experience teaching children/students is preferred.

● Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts in your own words.

● Comfortable conducting live online 1:1 classes.

● Good command of spoken English.

● Comfortable working with students from international markets.

● Must be available during the USA shift (12:00 AM–6:30 AM IST).

● Able to commit up to 4 hours/day and conduct approximately 4 sessions/day.

● Reliable internet connection and a suitable setup for online teaching.

● Passion for teaching and ability to engage young learners.

CompensationRegular Classes₹300/hour for 55–60 minute regular sessions.

Demo Classes₹150 per demo class for a 45–50 minute demo.





Demo Conversion Incentive₹200 additional incentive when a demo student converts into a full student.

Student No-Show₹50 will be paid if a student does not attend the scheduled class, provided the instructor waits for at least 15 minutes.

Selection ProcessRound 1 — Screening

Initial screening to check experience, subject expertise, USA-shift availability, compensation expectations, and overall suitability.

Round 2 — Founder's Interview The founder will assess the candidate's coding knowledge and their ability to understand and explain concepts in their own words.

Round 3 — Demo Class The selected candidate will conduct a live demo class with a student.

Immediate Hiring: Candidates who successfully perform in the demo and are liked by the student may be hired immediately.
