: Paralegal

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support our Intellectual Property (IP) investigations and litigation practice. The role involves monitoring online platforms for suspected intellectual property infringements, conducting preliminary investigations, gathering and analysing evidence, preparing investigative reports, and providing litigation support.The ideal candidate should possess sound computer skills, good communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail, with an interest in online investigations, legal processes, and brand protection.

Key Responsibilities

1. Online Monitoring & Surveillance: Monitor and audit e-commerce marketplaces, social media platforms, and independent websites/domains to identify suspected counterfeit products, unauthorised sales, and other forms of intellectual property infringement.
2. Entity Identification & Tracking: Identify, investigate, and track online entities, storefronts, and individual sellers suspected of violating a brand's intellectual property rights, including collecting relevant digital evidence and identifying potential leads.
3. Offline Investigations: Undertake field investigations and physical verification of suspected infringers based on leads generated through online monitoring, as and when required.
4. Investigative Reporting: Compile comprehensive investigative reports documenting the identity and whereabouts of suspected infringers, their business operations, the scale of their activities, and the online evidence and intelligence relied upon.
5. Database Management: Maintain and regularly update internal databases tracking active investigation leads, identified entities, enforcement history, evidence collected, and the status of ongoing investigations.
6. Litigation & Case Management Support:



Maintain and organise court files, case records, pleadings, orders, supporting documents, and other legal correspondence. Monitor court proceedings, track hearing dates, and maintain updated case-status records.
7. Documentation & Coordination: Assist in preparing presentations, spreadsheets, investigation summaries, and other documentation required for internal reviews, client reporting, and enforcement activities.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

- Intermediate (Class XII) pass or above.
- Graduates in any discipline will be preferred.
- Candidates with an interest in law, investigations, intellectual property, or brand protection are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills

- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
- Ability to conduct online searches and navigate e-commerce marketplaces.
- Basic understanding of internet research, digital documentation, and data management.

Soft Skills

- Valuable verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple assignments.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and information gathering.
- Willingness to undertake field investigations.
