Role & responsibilities

- Procure primary and secondary packing materials such as PVC/PVDC films, aluminum foils, cartons, labels, leaflets, caps, bottles, shippers, and related packaging components.
- Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved procurement plans.
- Coordinate with Production Planning, Warehouse, QA, and Vendors to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Follow up with suppliers for timely deliveries and resolve supply-related issues.
- Conduct vendor evaluations, obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize procurement terms.




- Maintain optimal inventory levels and monitor material consumption trends.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for vendor approvals, change controls, and material qualification activities.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with GMP requirements and company SOPs.
- Maintain procurement records, purchase reports, and supplier performance data.
- Support cost-saving initiatives through alternate sourcing and commercial negotiations.

Required Qualifications

- Good Knowledge on Computers with Advance Excel / Power Point Presentation/ Word
- Valuable Comunication skill
- Experience in pharmaceutical packing material procurement, preferably in an OSD manufacturing facility.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging materials and vendor management.
- Understanding of GMP requirements and pharmaceutical procurement processes.
- Proficiency in ERP system.
