As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing application releases and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the system. Daily activities also involve utilizing standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments.

Collaboration with various stakeholders to understand needs and implement effective solutions is a key part of the daily workflow. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow Custom Apps / App Engine, with the ability to design and deliver custom applications, workflows, integrations, data models, and user experiences tailored to business needs.



Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical configurations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal application functionality.
- Document configuration changes and maintain knowledge repositories to support team learning and continuity.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices. Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow.
- Experience in configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules to meet business needs.
- Strong understanding of APIs and integration techniques within ServiceNow environments.
- Familiarity with low-code development platforms and their application in SaaS solutions.
- Ability to manage application releases and perform system upgrades with minimal disruption.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting and maintaining system stability in cloud-based applications.
