Role Description The Owner role at Hammer Media is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Owner will oversee overall business strategy, manage client relationships, and guide the development and execution of integrated advertising campaigns. Daily responsibilities include supervising creative and media teams, making key financial and operational decisions, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The role also involves identifying new business opportunities, leading pitches,



and maintaining high standards of service and brand integrity. The Owner will foster a collaborative culture, mentor team members, and represent the company in industry and client-facing forums.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in advertising, media, or marketing leadership, preferably in a creative or agency environment.
- Solid business management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive growth, and manage multiple client accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a client-focused mindset.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams, mentoring talent, and building a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Understanding of creative development, media planning, and digital marketing trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and be actively involved in daily operations.
