Role Description The Owner role at Even is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru, responsible for setting the overall vision, strategy, and direction of the company. In this role, the individual oversees core business operations, including product development, clinical and non-clinical services, and member experience, ensuring alignment with Even’s mission of preventive, accessible healthcare. The Owner leads and mentors cross-functional teams, manages key stakeholder relationships, and represents the organization with investors, partners, and regulatory bodies.

Day-to-day responsibilities include making data-informed decisions on growth initiatives, monitoring financial performance, refining market positioning, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.



The role also involves fostering a culture of integrity, innovation, and inclusivity, while continuously improving service quality for members and clients.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in building, leading, or owning a business or startup, ideally in healthcare, insurance, or technology-driven services.

- Robust strategic planning and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes.

- Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing P&L;, with a focus on sustainable growth and operational efficiency.

- Experience managing cross-functional teams, with strong leadership, people management, and stakeholder relationship skills.

- Knowledge of healthcare delivery models, health insurance, or regulatory environments in India is highly beneficial.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage investors, partners, clients, and internal teams.

- Comfort with data-driven decision-making and familiarity with analytics tools or dashboards to track performance metrics.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA, MPH, or similar) is a plus.

- Commitment to ethical, inclusive leadership and a member-first mindset aligned with Even’s preventive care philosophy.
