Its comprehensive Agri marketplace and financial services platform serves the entire agricultural value chain, aiming to streamline operations, reduce redundant layers, and deliver better prices and product choices to both buyers and sellers.

Role Description The Owner role at Farmgate Technologies Pvt Ltd is a full-time, in office position based in Delhi, India. The Owner will oversee overall business strategy, drive growth across the Agri marketplace and financial services platform, and ensure alignment with the company’s mission of delivering sustainable, result-focused solutions for farmers. Daily responsibilities include leading senior management, managing key stakeholder relationships, guiding product and technology development, and monitoring operational performance across project planning, implementation, and value delivery services.

The role involves making high-level investment and partnership decisions,



supervising regulatory and compliance matters, and representing the organization in industry forums, investor meetings, and with government and institutional partners. The Owner will also foster a culture of innovation, ethical business practices, and continuous improvement throughout the company.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership, people management, and organizational skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strategic planning, business development, and growth management capabilities, ideally in agriculture, agritech, or technology-driven marketplaces.
- Financial acumen, including budgeting, investment evaluation, risk management, and familiarity with financial services such as farm credit and insurance.
- Operational management skills, with experience in overseeing end-to-end service delivery, logistics, and quality assurance in complex value chains.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills for working with farmers, buyers, partners, regulators, and investors.
- Background in agriculture, agribusiness, technology platforms, or supply chain management; prior entrepreneurial or ownership experience is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, with a hands-on approach, high integrity, and commitment to sustainable, inclusive growth in the agricultural sector.
