Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced O2C Consultant to join an elite Finance & Accounting Due Diligence and Transformation team. The role will provide functional leadership across Order-to-Cash processes and support large-scale finance transformation, outsourcing due diligence, operating model design and automation initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in O2C operations, working capital, collections, credit, billing, disputes, process transformation and client-facing consulting/solutioning .

Key Responsibilities

- Lead O2C due diligence and current-state assessments across customer management, order management, billing, cash application, collections, credit risk, deductions and disputes.
- Identify key DSO drivers, working capital opportunities, revenue leakage and process inefficiencies .
- Assess credit governance, collection policies, customer onboarding controls and revenue recognition processes.
- Drive O2C process re-engineering initiatives including collections segmentation, dispute reduction, billing simplification and cash forecasting.
- Conduct process diagnostics and root-cause analysis for collections effectiveness, deductions and disputes.
- Support Target Operating Model (TOM) design, transformation roadmaps and operating model optimization .
- Identify opportunities for automation, RPA, AI/GenAI and autonomous finance across O2C.




- Support pre-sales activities including due diligence, RFP/RFI responses, solution design, scope validation and effort/FTE estimation.
- Partner with senior client stakeholders and internal teams to develop transformation recommendations and value cases.
- Establish KPI frameworks and benchmark O2C performance across DSO, CEI, working capital, collections effectiveness and automation.
- Support transition, stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives for large-scale F&A; operations.

Required Skills & Experience

- 12+ years of experience in Order-to-Cash / Credit-to-Cash operations and transformation .
- Strong expertise across billing, collections, cash application, credit management, deductions and dispute resolution.
- Proven experience in working capital improvement and DSO reduction .
- Experience in O2C transformation, process re-engineering and operational excellence.
- Robust exposure to BPO, GBS, Shared Services or Finance & Accounting outsourcing environments .
- Experience in due diligence, RFP/RFI, solutioning, TOM design or transformation consulting is highly preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting experience.
- Exposure to Lean Six Sigma, process intelligence or process mining.
- Experience with automation, RPA, AI/GenAI or autonomous finance solutions.
