Oracle EPM Functional Consultant-Contractual

Position: Senior / Principal Oracle EPM Functional Consultant Experience Required: 5 to 12 Years

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Functional Consultant with 5 to 12 years of hands-on experience leading and executing end-to-end Oracle EPM Cloud implementations. In this role, you will act as a key functional advisor, bridging the gap between business finance processes and technology solutions. You will collaborate with corporate controllership, finance, tax, and IT stakeholders to architect, configure, and optimize Oracle EPM applications including FCCS, TRCS, EPBCS, and ARCS.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

- Conduct business discovery sessions, requirement-gathering workshops, and functional gap analyses for enterprise clients.
- Design robust, scalable functional solution architectures across primary financial processes including financial close, consolidation, planning, and tax reporting.
- Translate business requirements into technical design specifications, functional requirement documents (FRD), and process workflow diagrams.

System Configuration & Implementation
- Configure core application components across Oracle EPM modules (FCCS, EPBCS, TRCS, ARCS) including Chart of Accounts, custom dimensions, data forms, and dashboards.
- Design and maintain business rules, member formulas, consolidation rules, translation mechanisms, and intercompany elimination logic.
- Set up data mapping, data validation, and automated loading rules using Oracle Data Management / Data Exchange.

Reporting & Analytics
- Build executive financial packages, management reports, and dynamic dashboards using Financial Reporting Studio, Management Reporting, and SmartView.
- Configure audit trails, roll-forward schedules,



and regulatory reporting views aligned with US GAAP / IFRS standards.

Testing, Deployment & Stakeholder Management
- Lead functional integration testing (FIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and data reconciliation across legacy and ERP environments.
- Develop training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides to drive organization-wide adoption.
- Provide post-go-live hypercare support, defect resolution, and continuous process improvements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Professional Experience:

- 512 years of experience as an Oracle EPM / Hyperion Functional Consultant, with involvement in at least 2–3 full lifecycle Oracle EPM Cloud implementations.
- Core Module Expertise: Strong functional configuration experience in at least two of the following modules:
- FCCS(Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service)
- TRCS(Tax Reporting Cloud Service)
- EPBCS / PBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service)
- ARCS(Account Reconciliation Cloud Service)
- Finance Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, financial close procedures, currency translations, intercompany eliminations, and tax provisioning.

Reporting Skills:Expert proficiency with Smart View for Office, Financial Reporting Web Studio, and Narrative Reporting. Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to lead client-facing workshops and engage senior executive leadership.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

Oracle Certification: Oracle EPM Cloud Certified Implementation Specialist (FCCS, TRCS, or EPBCS).

Technical Familiarity: Basic understanding of EPM Automate, Groovy scripting, or SQL queries for automated data validation.

ERP Integration:Exposure to integrating Oracle EPM Cloud with Oracle Cloud ERP (Financials), SAP, or other third-party ledger systems.
