Offshore Finance Functional Resources 1 Resource

Overview: Resource role is responsible for executing growth, support and maintenance activities necessary within Prudentials eBusiness Suite Application Support GL , AP, FA and iExpense Team. Resources are expected to manage, maintain, grow and support the existing application base in accordance with controlled systems development lifecycle (SDLC) and global design standards. This is inclusive of BAU, initiative and enhancement work.

Hours Worked: local hours with US business hour overlap

Position Responsibilities

Perform Service Now issue resolution and work directly with users on Tier II and III Help Desk issues and questions; initiate and manage Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle Support as appropriate; address User questions/issues sent to team mailbox

Perform standard maintenance activities related to ongoing support and initiative activities such as.

Configuration Updates

Create/Update Multi-Org/Operating Units

Create/Update Payables & Financials Configuration

Create/Update eBusiness Tax Configuration To be able to work on Consolidation / Allocations / Entity Maintenance

Able to resolve MEC/QEC/YEC issue

Create/Update SLA Rules

Create/Update AME Rules

Create/Update Objects Using BI Publisher

Create/Update Expense Templates

Create/Update Forms Personalizations

Create/Update Payment Request Sets

Create/Update OBIEE

Create/Update TMS Tables

Create/Update Alerts

Other

Perform GL , AP, iExpense and Payment Request System (PRS) application testing as required

Administer and monitor Workflow processes; resolve issues





Support Business AP Reconciliation Processes as necessary

Address Job Stream warnings/failures, when necessary

Monitor and support a key subset of AP interfaces & loads

Support Audit Requests as Necessary

Participate in BC testing

Document and maintain SOPs

Participate as required in the design, build and implementation of smaller/BAU business system solutions, utilizing the Oracle eBusiness Suite, to solve complex business requirements; help bridge the gap between ‘business problems’ and ‘technology solutions’

Identify, document and/or execute aspects of the following, independently, for straight forward initiatives: As-Is Processes, Business Requirements, To-Be Solutions, Functional Specifications, Configuration, Test Plans and Test Scripts; assist with these deliverables for complex initiatives

Investigate system configuration options to provide functional expertise when developing solutions to meet business requirements; develop strategies to use standard functionality to meet business needs whenever possible

Collaborate with technical development teams and coordinate work efforts when addressing recent implementations, functionality enhancements, application updates and performance issues

Independently execute assigned tasks associated with projects, maintenance and BAU activities

Use experience and systems implementation knowledge to help expand Prudential’s use of Accounts Payable, iExpense & PRS; focus on continuous improvement within AP Applications
