Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join our Health Care team. In this entry-level position, the successful candidate will play a vital role in assessing visual acuity, diagnosing eye conditions, and prescribing corrective lenses. This opportunity is ideal for a fresh graduate or skilled with up to one year of experience, offering a competitive salary range of ₹15,000 to ₹30,000.

The role is central to patient care, ensuring accurate vision testing and providing essential guidance on eye health and safety.

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment such as autorefractometers, retinoscopes, and slit lamps.

- Perform specific procedures including applanation tonometry, fundus photography, A-scan biometry, and keratometry to evaluate ocular health.

- Execute visual field testing (HVF) and near vision assessments (RT Test) to detect visual impairments.

- Provide expert counseling to patients regarding vision correction options, contact lens care, and overall eye wellness.





- Utilize specialized tools like the I care device and slit lamp examination techniques to ensure precise clinical outcomes.

- Maintain detailed patient records and collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans.

Requirements

- Possess a robust foundation in core optometry skills, including vision testing, refraction, and retinoscopy.

- Demonstrate proficiency in operating key diagnostic instruments such as the Autorefractometer, Slit Lamp, Applanation Tonometer, and Fundus Camera.

- Have practical knowledge of A-Scan, Keratometry, and Visual Field (HVF) testing methodologies.

- Exhibit excellent communication abilities to effectively counsel patients and explain complex eye conditions.

- Be prepared to work within the Health Care industry with a commitment to high standards of patient care.

- Meet the experience criteria of 0 to 1 year in a clinical or optometric setting.
