We are seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join our Healthcare team, playing a vital role in delivering comprehensive eye care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting exact vision assessments, operating advanced diagnostic equipment, and providing essential patient education to ensure optimal ocular health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed vision screenings and refraction tests to determine accurate prescription needs.
- Operate specialized diagnostic instruments including autorefractometers, slit lamps, applanation tonometers, fundus cameras, A-scans, and keratometers.
- Conduct retinoscopy and HVF (Humphrey Visual Field) examinations to evaluate visual function and detect abnormalities.
- Execute RT tests and comprehensive slit lamp examinations to assess eye health and diagnose conditions.
- Provide clear counseling to patients regarding vision correction options, eye care maintenance, and treatment plans.
- Utilize I care software to manage patient records and track clinical progress efficiently.
Requirements
- Possess 0 to 1 year of professional experience in optometry or a related clinical setting.
- Demonstrate proficiency in key areas such as vision testing, refraction, and retinoscopy.
- Show hands-on experience with essential equipment including the Autorefractometer, Applanation Tonometer, Fundus Camera, A-Scan, and Keratometry tools.
- Be skilled in conducting Slit Lamp Examinations and HVF assessments.
- Exhibit strong counseling abilities to effectively communicate with patients.
- Maintain a salary expectation within the range of ₹15,000 to ₹35,000.
