Job Summary

We are looking for a OPT Recruiter with experience in sourcing, screening, and recruiting IT professionals in the US market, particularly candidates on F-1 OPT/STEM OPT, EAD's & H1-B. The ideal candidate should understand the US IT recruitment process and be comfortable working with candidates, hiring teams, and staffing partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Source IT candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and other recruiting platforms.
- Identify and engage candidates who are actively seeking opportunities in the US IT market.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline across technologies such as Java, .NET, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Data, Cloud, DevOps, QA, AI/ML, and other IT domains.
- Screen candidates based on technical skills, experience, location, availability, and job requirements.
- Communicate with candidates regarding suitable contract, contract-to-hire, and full-time opportunities.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment status.
- Follow up with candidates regarding interviews, feedback, offers, and onboarding.
- Develop and maintain relationships with candidates and staffing partners.
- Stay updated on US IT hiring trends and available opportunities.
- Work closely with recruiters, account managers, and delivery teams to fulfill open requirements.




- Meet daily and monthly sourcing, screening, submission, and placement targets.

Required Skills

- 2-5 years of experience in US IT Recruitment, preferably with OPT/STEM OPT candidates.
- Understanding of the US IT staffing and recruitment process.
- Experience sourcing candidates for technical positions.
- Strong knowledge of LinkedIn, job boards, and resume databases.
- Positive understanding of IT technologies and technical job descriptions.
- Strong candidate communication and relationship-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Willingness to work in US/EST hours.

Preferred

- Experience working specifically with F-1 OPT/STEM OPT candidates.
- Experience with US contract and direct-hire recruitment.
- Familiarity with W2, C2C, 1099, and contract-to-hire staffing models.
- Existing candidate network within the US IT market.
- Experience working with staffing vendors and recruitment partners.
