IIT Bombay, in collaboration with Daikin, invites applications for three Project Research positions (PR-O1) under the project:

“Optimising Indoor Air Quality and Infection Resistance in IIT Bombay Classrooms”

We are looking for candidates with expertise in the following areas:

? 1. Setting / Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)

Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science or related background, with experience or interest in IAQ monitoring, environmental sensors, air-quality assessment and data analysis.

? 2. HVAC / Mechanical

Mechanical Engineering / HVAC / Energy Engineering or related background, with knowledge of HVAC systems, ventilation, thermal comfort, air distribution and experimental evaluation.

? 3. Electronics / Instrumentation / IoT

Electronics / Instrumentation / Electrical / IoT or related background, with experience in sensors, instrumentation, data acquisition, IoT systems and environmental monitoring.

PR-O1 (Research) / Managerial/Technical

⏳ Initial Duration: 89 days on an ad-hoc basis, with the possibility of extension for a longer duration based on performance, project requirements, applicable norms and availability of funds.

The selected candidates will work as part of the IIT Bombay–Daikin interdisciplinary research team, contributing to IAQ assessment, HVAC/ventilation evaluation, monitoring, experimental studies and development of evidence-based recommendations.
