Role Description The Onboarding Specialist role is a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai. In this role, the specialist guides new users through the end-to-end onboarding process for the baby.money app, helping them set up accounts, complete necessary documentation, and understand key features. Daily tasks include welcoming new customers, conducting KYC and compliance checks, answering onboarding-related queries, and providing clear, friendly support via in-person interactions, phone, email, and chat.

The specialist collaborates with customer support, operations, and product teams to resolve onboarding issues, improve workflows, and ensure a smooth, compliant experience for every new client.



The position also involves capturing feedback from new users to help refine onboarding journeys and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Customer Onboarding and Client Onboarding processes, ideally within financial services or fintech.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret customer data, identify onboarding bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements.
- Candidates should possess a customer-centric mindset, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple onboarding cases simultaneously.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with KYC norms, basic mutual fund or investment concepts, and comfort working with digital tools and CRM systems.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; prior experience in client onboarding or customer success is preferred.
