Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist role based at Rising Stars in Mayur Vihar. The professional in this role will assess children’s developmental, motor, sensory, and functional abilities, and design individualized therapy plans aligned with their specific needs and goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting therapy sessions, documenting progress, updating treatment plans, and collaborating with other therapists and caregivers to ensure consistent, coordinated care.
The role also involves educating families on home-based exercises and strategies, participating in multidisciplinary case discussions,
and contributing to a supportive and inclusive therapeutic environment. Ongoing learning, adherence to ethical and clinical standards, and active involvement in center initiatives are integral to this position.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Therapy, with experience in functional assessment, sensory integration, and individualized intervention planning.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation principles, including therapeutic exercises, motor development, and evidence-based pediatric rehabilitation practices.
- Candidates should possess a sound foundation in Pediatrics and child development, with the ability to tailor interventions to different age groups and developmental stages.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and multidisciplinary team members, including clear documentation and family education.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy from an accredited institution; licensure/registration as required by local regulations.
- Experience working with children with special needs (e.g., developmental delays, autism spectrum conditions, cerebral palsy, learning differences) is highly beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, patience, and the ability to create a protected, inclusive, and motivating therapy environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage a caseload effectively, and maintain professional ethics and confidentiality.
