We are looking for an experienced Nutanix DR Solution Architect for a contractual engagement with a leading enterprise client.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Nutanix Disaster Recovery architecture, infrastructure recovery planning, DR strategy, HLD/LLD, RTO/RPO, failover/failback, DR testing, architecture governance, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, review, and validate Nutanix Disaster Recovery architecture and solutions
- Develop and validate High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD)
- Define recovery strategies aligned with agreed RTO and RPO objectives
- Design workload classification, recovery sequencing, and infrastructure dependency mapping
- Review and govern DR failover and failback approaches
- Prepare and review DR runbooks, operational procedures, recovery documentation, and DR operations playbooks
- Perform infrastructure readiness assessments and architecture gap analysis
- Define DR testing methodology, scenarios, test plans, and acceptance criteria
- Validate DR test outcomes against agreed recovery objectives
- Assess architectural risks, dependencies, scalability, maintainability, and operational supportability
- Ensure alignment of the DR architecture with infrastructure, security, business continuity, and resilience requirements
- Provide technical direction for Nutanix, VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, authentication, and related infrastructure readiness
- Coordinate with infrastructure,



security, project, BAU support, and implementation teams
- Govern infrastructure participation in replication, failover, failback, recovery validation, and DR testing activities

Required Experience

- Strong experience in Nutanix DR Architecture
- Strong understanding of Disaster Recovery strategy and architecture
- Experience creating and reviewing HLD and LLD
- Solid knowledge of RTO, RPO, recovery sequencing, and dependency mapping
- Experience with failover, failback, replication, and DR testing
- Experience preparing DR runbooks and operational recovery documentation
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and operational readiness
- Experience with Nutanix, VMware, and Windows Server environments
- Understanding of core infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Authentication Services, and File Services
- Experience in architecture governance, risk assessment, stakeholder coordination, and technical assurance

- Able to independently lead architecture reviews and provide technical direction across infrastructure DR workstreams
