NRI Relationship Manager

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused NRI Relationship Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of Non-Resident Indian (NRI) customers. The role involves acquiring new NRI relationships, deepening existing relationships, understanding customer financial needs, and offering appropriate banking and investment solutions.
The incumbent will be responsible for achieving business targets through NRI acquisition, CASA, deposits, investments, loans, insurance and other banking products, while ensuring a high level of customer service and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. NRI Customer Acquisition
- Acquire new NRI customers through referrals, leads, market visits, and other business channels.
- Identify prospective NRI customers and convert them into active banking relationships.
- Build relationships with NRI customers and their families in India.
- Develop and maintain a robust NRI customer pipeline.
1. Relationship Management
- Manage and service an assigned portfolio of NRI customers.
- Understand customer financial requirements and provide suitable banking solutions.
- Conduct regular customer engagement and portfolio reviews.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer queries and service requests.
- Develop long-term relationships with customers and improve customer retention.
1. Business Development & Cross-Selling
- Achieve assigned targets for:
- NRI Savings / Current Accounts
- CASA balances
- Term Deposits / Fixed Deposits
- Remittances
- Mutual Funds and Investment Products
- Insurance
- Personal / Home Loans and other lending products
- Credit Cards and other retail banking products
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within the existing customer portfolio.
- Generate referrals and leads for other banking products.
1. NRI Product & Regulatory Knowledge
- Maintain sound knowledge of NRI banking products and services.
- Handle NRE, NRO and FCNR-related banking requirements.
- Ensure adherence to applicable RBI, FEMA, KYC, AML and bank policies.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of account-opening and service processes.
1. Portfolio Management
- Monitor customer portfolio performance and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Track customer balances, product penetration and revenue generation.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and business activities.
- Regularly review dormant / inactive relationships and work towards activation.
1. Customer Service
- Act as the primary point of contact for NRI customers.
- Coordinate with internal teams for account opening, remittances, loans, investments and other customer requirements.
- Provide prompt and effective resolution of customer issues.
- Maintain high standards of customer experience and service quality.

Eligibility Education: Graduate in any discipline
• MBA/PGDM in Finance/Marketing will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Deputy Manager: 2–4 years of relevant experience in Banking / Financial Services / Relationship Management / NRI Banking.
- Manager: 4–6 years of relevant experience in Banking / Financial Services / NRI Banking / Relationship Management.
Candidates with experience in NRI Banking, Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Branch Banking, CASA, Affluent Banking or Relationship Management will be preferred.
