Job Summary The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Node.js, backend development, RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications . Experience working with Agentic AI, Generative AI, or AI-powered applications is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js .
- Build high-performance RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services .
- Develop and integrate AI-powered capabilities and intelligent workflows where applicable.
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and application developers to integrate LLMs, AI agents, and AI services into production applications.
- Develop APIs and services that support AI agents, tool calling, workflow orchestration, and automated decision-making .
- Integrate third-party APIs, cloud services, databases, and enterprise applications.
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available backend architectures.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases and develop efficient data-access layers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, architecture decisions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Collaborate with teams across India and the US while working US shift timings.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js .
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript .




- Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices .
- Strong understanding of backend architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks .
- Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies .
- Strong experience with Git and modern software development practices .
- Experience with API security, authentication, authorization, and integration patterns.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
- Robust debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred – Agentic AI / Generative AI Experience Experience with Agentic AI or Generative AI is highly preferred. Candidates with hands-on experience in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply:

- Development of AI Agents / Agentic AI applications .
