Role & responsibilities

- Niagara Station Development: Design, configure, and commission Niagara 4 (N4) JACEs and Supervisor stations.

- Protocol Integration: Integrate, map, and troubleshoot HVAC, lighting, metering, and security systems using BACnet (IP/MS-TP), Modbus (TCP/RTU), LonWorks, and KNX.

- Custom Java Development: Write custom Java modules, services, components, and driver interfaces utilizing the Niagara Workbench and Tridium APIs.

- Web UI &
- Visualization:

Build responsive HTML5/PX user interfaces, graphics, and dashboards using TypeScript, JavaScript, and web technologies inside Niagara 4.

- API &

- Cloud Integration:

Connect Niagara stations to enterprise cloud platforms and third-party software using REST APIs, MQTT, and JSON/XML.

- System Optimization: Program custom control logic, alarms, histories/trends, schedules, and analytics engines to optimize building performance and energy efficiency.

- Testing &

- Deployment:

Perform end-to-end site commissioning,



protocol network troubleshooting (using Wireshark/BACnet discovery tools), and code testing.

Desired Candidate Profile

Mandatory Technical Skills

- Niagara Experience: Hands-on development and configuration experience on Tridium Niagara 4 (N4) (Niagara AX experience is a plus).

- Software Engineering: Solid proficiency in Java (for Niagara back-end modules) and TypeScript / JavaScript (for front-end Niagara web views).

- Building Protocols: Strong practical understanding of BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and KNX message structures, polling, and network troubleshooting.

- Web Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JSON, and RESTful web services.

Preferred Certifications &

- Qualifications:

- Tridium Niagara 4 TCP Certified (Strongly Preferred).

- B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.

- Experience with IoT platforms, MQTT, or cloud integrations (AWS / Azure).
