Network Architect / Senior Engineering Lead – Enterprise LAN & Wi-Fi

Experience: 10–12+ Years

We are looking for an experienced Network Architect / Senior Engineering Lead – Enterprise LAN & Wi-Fi to provide architecture, design, technology evaluation, and governance expertise for a large-scale global banking environment.

The role will focus on developing and maintaining standardized, scalable, secure, and resilient Enterprise LAN and Wi-Fi architectures aligned with business and technology requirements.

Strong hands-on experience in designing large-scale, multi-site enterprise LAN and Wi-Fi networks using Cisco and/or Juniper Mist platforms is highly preferred.

Experience with Ekahau, 802.1X/NAC, campus switching, wireless RF design, and network security will be an advantage.

Key ResponsibilitiesLAN & Wi-Fi Design, Assessment and Strategy

- Assess existing Enterprise LAN and Wi-Fi architectures and identify design gaps, risks, and dependencies.
- Develop standardized High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) solutions.
- Define reference architectures, design standards, configuration templates, and engineering guidelines.
- Support technology refresh, migration, transformation, and network modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with Operations teams to identify and resolve design-related issues.
- Perform wireless RF design, coverage validation, capacity planning, and optimization for new and existing sites.

Technology Evaluation & Certification

- Evaluate and certify new wireless access points,



switches, networking hardware, and software.
- Conduct technical assessments, interoperability testing, and Proof of Concept (PoC) activities.
- Assess firmware and software releases and provide upgrade recommendations.
- Maintain certified hardware/software baselines, approved models, versions, and golden configurations.
- Track vendor roadmaps, End-of-Life (EOL), End-of-Support (EOS), and security advisories.

Architecture Governance & Technical Leadership

- Review and approve technical designs and implementation approaches.
- Provide architecture and engineering guidance to Operations and Implementation teams.
- Act as a technical authority for complex network architecture and design-related issues.
- Support complex technical escalations and troubleshooting.
- Ensure adherence to global architecture, security, and configuration standards.
- Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews for design-impacting changes.
- Maintain architecture documentation, network diagrams, design standards, and knowledge articles.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of Enterprise LAN & Wi-Fi Architecture and Design.
- Deep knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
- VLAN, STP, LACP, OSPF, and BGP.
- Enterprise campus switching architectures.
- Wireless standards including 802.11ac, 802.11ax, and 802.11be.




- Wireless technologies across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz.
- 802.1X, RADIUS, NAC, WPA3, and network access security.
- Experience with large-scale, multi-site enterprise network environments.
- Strong understanding of architecture governance and design standards.

- Experience with technology certification, PoC/lab validation, and vendor evaluation.
- Experience in network automation and infrastructure transformation.

Pay: ₹2,200,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
