Role Description This is a full-time, on-site NDT Engineer role located in Coimbatore. The NDT Engineer will perform non-destructive testing (NDT) activities such as ultrasonic and eddy current examinations on mechanical components and systems, following relevant codes and standards.
Responsibilities include planning and executing inspections, documenting test results, preparing reports, and communicating findings to project and quality teams. The role involves supporting quality control processes, identifying defects or non-conformities,
and recommending corrective actions to ensure equipment integrity and safety. The NDT Engineer will also assist in maintaining testing equipment, adhering to safety procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong non-destructive testing skills, including Eddy Current and Ultrasonics.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inspection and Quality Control for components, systems, and materials.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering and related technical disciplines.
- Relevant NDT certifications (e.g., Level II in Ultrasonic or Eddy Current) and familiarity with applicable standards are beneficial.
- Ability to read technical drawings, prepare clear reports, and communicate inspection results effectively.
- Attention to detail, adherence to safety practices, and capability to work on-site in industrial and healthcare environments.
- Prior experience as an NDT Engineer or in a similar inspection role within engineering or healthcare-related facilities is an advantage.
