Role Description The Modeler role at Aetrio Solutions is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. In this role, the Modeler will create and manage 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures, ensuring alignment with project drawings, specifications, and relevant codes such as AISC, OSHA, and AWS. Day-to-day responsibilities include detailing connections, preparing fabrication and erection drawings, generating reports and material lists, and coordinating with engineers, detailers, and project managers to resolve design and modeling issues.

The Modeler will review and update models based on client feedback and design changes, maintain documentation, and support quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.



The role also involves collaborating with the team to improve modeling standards, workflows, and best practices.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in structural steel modeling and detailing, ideally with hands-on experience using Tekla Structures or similar 3D modeling software.
- Understanding of industry standards and codes related to structural steel, such as AISC, OSHA, and AWS, and the ability to apply them in daily work.
- Strong technical drawing interpretation skills, including the ability to read and translate architectural and engineering drawings into accurate 3D models.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve modeling, connection, and coordination issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with engineers, detailers, fabricators, and project managers in a team-based environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet project deadlines, and maintain organized documentation and version control.
- Relevant educational background in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering, or a related discipline; a diploma or degree in these fields is preferred.
- Prior experience in steel detailing or modeling for industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects is an advantage; familiarity with fabrication and erection processes is beneficial.
