Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Appium for testing Android and/or iOS mobile applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts while working closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure high-quality mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation test scripts using Appium.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing of mobile applications.
- Automate testing for Android and iOS applications.
- Work with real devices, emulators, and simulators.
- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot application defects and automation failures.
- Create and maintain reusable automation frameworks.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
- Perform API testing and validate mobile application backend integrations.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.
- Participate in test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain test documentation, test reports,



and defect tracking.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage and automation efficiency.

Mandatory Skills

- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
- Strong hands-on experience with Appium.
- Mobile application testing experience on Android and/or iOS.
- Strong understanding of mobile testing concepts and application lifecycle.
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong programming experience in at least one of Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience developing or working with automation frameworks.
- Valuable understanding of API testing and REST APIs.
- Experience with tools such as Postman.
- Experience with Git and version-control practices.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect lifecycle.
- Experience working with JIRA or similar defect-management tools.
