1. Analysis of all types of microbiology samples as per relevant test methods.
2. Maintenance and internal calibration of instruments, glassware’s related to micro lab and monitoring of microbiologists work.
3. Participating in proficiency testing / inter laboratory comparison tests / QC Checks for microbiology parameters.
4. Following microbiological procedures / SOPs during cleaning, testing and maintenance of Microbiological Laboratory.
5. Handling and maintenance of reference cultures.
6. Development of current methods / validation of test methods if required.
7. Planning, understanding and completing the allocated work within the stipulated time.
8. Complying with Lab Quality Policy / Objectives.
9. Ensuring proper maintenance of quality system documents and records during storage and retrieval.
10. Carrying out specific tasks / additional responsibilities as when required.
11. Responsible for measurement of uncertainty in their respective functional area.
12. Signs the Microbiology Test Reports.
13. Provide Training and Monitoring the work of trainee Microbiologists.
