We are looking for a qualified and experienced Microbiologist to join our hospital laboratory team. The candidate will be responsible for microbiology testing, quality practices, documentation, and coordination with clinical and laboratory teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine microbiology investigations and laboratory procedures.
- Process and examine clinical specimens according to standard laboratory practices.
- Perform culture and sensitivity testing and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure proper sample handling, processing, and reporting.
- Monitor quality standards and maintain laboratory documentation.
- Coordinate with clinicians and laboratory staff regarding test results and requirements.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and necessary supplies.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and laboratory protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and laboratory information.
