Job Overview

Lahara Protocol Labs Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a MERN Stack Developer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in real-world software projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, with the ability to develop scalable web applications, REST APIs, database solutions, and responsive user interfaces.

This role is suitable for a developer who enjoys solving technical problems, taking ownership of development tasks, and working closely with an engineering team to build production-ready applications.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.
- Build responsive and reusable React.js components.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design and manage MongoDB databases, schemas, queries, and indexes.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Implement authentication, authorization, validation, and security practices.
- Debug and resolve application issues.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Use Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with other developers, designers, QA, and project stakeholders.
- Contribute to the complete software development lifecycle from requirement analysis to deployment.

Required Skills
- 2+ years of hands-on MERN Stack development experience
- Robust knowledge of React.js
- Strong knowledge of Node.js and Express.js
- Practical experience with MongoDB
- Strong JavaScript / ES6+ knowledge
- HTML5 and CSS3
- REST API development and integration
- React Hooks and component-based development
- Redux, Context API, or similar state-management experience
- Mongoose or similar MongoDB ODM
- Git and GitHub/GitLab
- API testing using Postman or similar tools




- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

Experience with any of the following will be an advantage:

- TypeScript
- AWS / Azure / Google Cloud
- Docker
- CI/CD
- Automated testing
- Application deployment and production support
- AI API integration
- AI-enabled applications
- Blockchain or distributed systems

Experience Requirement

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of practical, hands-on experience working on software projects using the MERN stack.

Candidates should be able to explain their previous projects, responsibilities, technical contributions, challenges faced, and solutions implemented.

Portfolio / GitHub / project links are encouraged.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Equivalent practical experience and demonstrated technical capability may also be considered.
