Role Description The Mechanical Project Engineer role is a full time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The individual in this role will oversee mechanical project engineering activities, including planning, design, coordination, and execution of projects involving piping systems and equipment installations for semiconductor and related industries. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing technical specifications, preparing and checking engineering drawings, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety requirements.

The role involves managing project timelines, monitoring progress,



coordinating with vendors and contractors, and supporting commissioning and handover activities.

The Mechanical Project

Engineer will also participate in problem-solving, optimize design solutions for cost and efficiency, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Project Engineering, with the ability to apply core engineering principles to complex industrial projects.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating, reviewing, and modifying mechanical layouts, piping drawings, and equipment designs.
- Experience in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and progress tracking for engineering projects.
- Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, particularly in industrial environments such as semiconductor or petrochemical facilities.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to interpret engineering documents, standards, and safety regulations, with attention to detail and quality.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, clients, vendors, and contractors.
- Experience with semiconductor, chemical, slurry, or gas systems projects is an advantage; familiarity with PLC, HMI, or SCADA environments is beneficial.
- Demonstrated capability to work on-site in an industrial setting, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to project requirements and timelines.
