Mechanical Engineer – Vehicle Integration & Fabrication

Location: Hyderabad; travel to client/project locations as required

Employment Type: Full-time

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday

Experience: 5–10 Years

Salary: ₹5–8 LPA (Salary is not a constraint for the right experienced candidate)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer – Vehicle Integration & Fabrication with hands-on experience in automobile systems, vehicle fabrication, assembly, and integration.

This is not a mechanical design-focused role. The position involves shop-floor execution, supervision of fabrication activities, vehicle modifications, integration, vendor coordination, trials, inspection, and on-site troubleshooting.

Required Experience & Qualification:

- 5–10 years of experience in Automobile / Vehicle Fabrication / Vehicle Integration
- Experience with automobile workshops, vehicle body builders, defence vehicles, or special-purpose vehicles
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Production / Industrial Engineering
- Experience in project execution and vendor/subcontractor coordination
- Willingness to work on the shop floor and travel to project/client sites

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and supervise vehicle fabrication, assembly, and integration activities.
- Supervise welding, sheet metal, structural fitment, canopy fabrication,



chassis modification, and LRU/aggregate mounting.
- Read and interpret existing fabrication drawings, layouts, and technical instructions.
- Ensure proper dimensions, alignment, fitment, quality, and safety during fabrication.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Procurement, Logistics, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Support prototype builds, vehicle trials, inspections, testing, and acceptance activities.
- Troubleshoot vehicle and fabrication-related issues at on-site and off-site locations.
- Prepare and maintain Work Instructions, SOPs, Safety Instructions, and activity documentation.

Required Skills:

- Automobile systems, chassis, suspension, and vehicle body structures
- Vehicle body building, structural fabrication, assembly, and integration
- Welding, machining, bending, cutting, surface finishing, and painting
- Ability to understand fabrication drawings
- Vehicle inspection and quality checks
- Vendor and team coordination
- Solid problem-solving and on-site troubleshooting skills

Minimum Service Agreement:

- 24 months service for below 3 years’ experience candidates.
- 12 months service for above 3 years’ experience candidates.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
