Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Draftsman with 5–7 years of relevant experience in mechanical drafting, heavy machine design, and engineering measurements. The candidate should have strong knowledge of AutoCAD and be capable of preparing accurate technical drawings and fabrication drawings for heavy machinery and mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop fabrication, assembly, and component drawings for heavy machines and mechanical structures.
- Understand heavy machine design concepts, dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.
- Take and verify physical measurements of machines, components, and structures.
- Convert measurements and engineering requirements into accurate technical drawings.
- Prepare detailed drawings for manufacturing and fabrication purposes.
- Modify and update existing mechanical drawings as per design or production requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers, production, fabrication, and workshop teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Maintain proper records and revisions of drawings.




- Visit the workshop/site when required for measurements and drawing verification.
- Ensure drawings comply with required dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing requirements.

Required Skills
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of heavy machine design and mechanical components.
- Practical knowledge of measurement and dimensional inspection.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Good understanding of dimensions, tolerances, sections, and assemblies.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with engineering and production teams.

Eligibility
- Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in mechanical drafting.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in heavy machinery, industrial equipment, fabrication, or mechanical manufacturing will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate A practical and technically sound Mechanical Draftsman who can independently handle AutoCAD drafting, machine measurements, heavy machine drawings, fabrication drawings, and drawing modifications. Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
