Are you a Mechanical Engineering graduate with a passion for 3D CAD, product development, prototyping and precision engineering?

Join Astr Defence and get hands-on exposure to the complete product development cycle — from 3D design and prototyping to precision machining, assembly, testing and design improvement.

What You Will Work On

- Create 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks / Fusion 360
- Support prototype development and 3D printing
- Gain practical exposure to precision machining, VMC, turning and post-processing
- Participate in assembly, fitting and functional trials
- Support product validation, testing and troubleshooting
- Analyse trial results and contribute to design improvements
- Work across the complete design → prototype → manufacture → test → improve cycle

Who Can Apply

- Diploma / GTTC / NTTF / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Pass-out years: 2024, 2025 or 2026
- Good academic record
- Strong interest in CAD, mechanical design, manufacturing and product development
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
- Willingness to work hands-on in design, manufacturing and testing
- Self-motivated, curious and eager to learn

Preferred Skills

- SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / 3D CAD
- Engineering drawings & GD&T;
- Basic knowledge of machining processes
- 3D printing / prototyping
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good teamwork and communication

6-Month Trainee Program

Stipend:



₹16,000 – ₹25,000 per month The program includes structured hands-on training, mentoring and work on real engineering projects.

Based on performance and suitability, successful trainees may be considered for a regular Mechanical Design & Development Engineer role with increased responsibilities.
