Company Description Skillsyncs Business Solutions is hiring for a leading Motor manufacturing company.

Role Description: We are looking for someone who has actual hands-on electric motor mechanical-design experience , rather than a general mechanical design background.

The role will focus on the mechanical design, development, optimization and validation of electric motors and rotating components , with particular relevance to BLDC motor applications. The engineer will work closely with engineering, manufacturing and other cross-functional teams to develop reliable, manufacturable and performance-oriented motor designs.

Key Responsibility

- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for electric/BLDC motors .
- Work on components such as rotors, stators, housings, shafts, bearings, mounting arrangements and other motor mechanical components .
- Prepare and review 2D drawings and 3D models for motor components and assemblies.
- Use SolidWorks / relevant 3D CAD tools for mechanical design and detailing.
- Apply GD&T;, tolerance stack-up and design-for-manufacturing principles .
- Perform engineering calculations related to mechanical strength, dynamics, vibration, thermal considerations and rotating components .
- Support FEA/structural analysis and validation wherever required.
- Work on the design of high-speed rotating components , considering structural integrity, balance and vibration.
- Optimize designs considering performance, weight, manufacturability and cost .
- Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure DFM/DFA and practical manufacturability .
- Support prototype development, testing, design verification and design improvements.




- Investigate design-related issues arising during prototype build, testing or production and implement corrective actions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve mechanical design and integration issues.
- Maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, design documentation and revision/change records.
- Coordinate with international/global engineering stakeholders where required.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical design , preferably in electric motors / BLDC motors / rotating machinery .
- Solid experience with 3D CAD , preferably SolidWorks .
- Good knowledge of mechanics of materials, dynamics, thermodynamics and heat transfer .
- Knowledge of FEA / structural analysis .
- Good understanding of GD&T;, tolerances and engineering drawings .
- Experience with high-speed rotating components and vibration-related considerations.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability .
- Experience working on motor-specific mechanical design will be highly preferred.

Preferred:
- Experience with BLDC / permanent-magnet electric motors .
- Experience in motor R&D;, product development or engineering .
- Exposure to CFD, thermal analysis or rotor-dynamics analysis .
- Experience working with international customers/engineering teams .
- Experience in aerospace, defence, industrial motors or other high-performance rotating equipment would be relevant given Gevasol's publicly described motor/sub-assembly activities and markets.
- Strong English communication and technical documentation skills .
