About the Role

We are looking for a passionate, patient, and student-focused Mathematics Teacher to teach students from Grade 1 to Grade 5.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of primary-level Mathematics and the ability to make mathematical concepts simple, engaging, practical, and enjoyable for young learners.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Mathematics from Grade 1 to Grade 5 according to the school's curriculum.
- Develop strong foundations in Numbers, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Geometry, Measurements, Time, Money, Data Handling, and basic problem-solving.
- Use activity-based, visual, and practical teaching methods to make concepts easy to understand.
- Develop students' logical thinking, mental maths, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Encourage students to understand mathematical concepts rather than rely solely on memorisation.
- Use games, puzzles, manipulatives, worksheets, real-life examples, and interactive activities to make Mathematics interesting.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, assessments, and learning materials.
- Conduct regular assessments and monitor individual student progress.
- Provide additional support and guidance to students who require extra attention.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and encouraging classroom environment.
- Communicate students' academic progress to parents when required.
- Participate in school events, academic activities, competitions,



and other school initiatives.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics / Education / related field.
- B.Ed / relevant teaching certification will be an advantage.
- Prior experience teaching Grade 1 to Grade 5 is preferred.
- Strong command of primary-level Mathematics concepts.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Good classroom management and student-handling skills.
- Ability to explain mathematical concepts in a simple and child-friendly manner.
- Patient, energetic, creative, and approachable personality.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching may also be considered.
