Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Marketing Specialist role based in Patna.

The Marketing

Specialist will plan and execute marketing campaigns to grow brand awareness and user acquisition for KnightSteps, including online and offline initiatives. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, analyzing user data, coordinating with product and content teams, and supporting promotional activities such as social media, email marketing, events, and partnerships. The role involves collaborating with sales and customer support to refine messaging, improve user engagement,



and ensure consistent communication across channels.

The Marketing

Specialist will track campaign performance, prepare reports, and recommend data-driven improvements to marketing strategy.

Qualifications

- Solid Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with users, partners, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Market Research to understand target audiences, competitors, and industry trends.
- Experience in Marketing Strategy and Sales to design campaigns that drive user growth and conversions.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels (social media, email, content marketing) and basic analytics tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in chess, online learning, or gaming is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a startup environment, with a proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of outcomes.
