Responsibilities

- Safety & Compliance

: Ensure adherence to ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, OCIMF, and company SMS.

- Cargo Operations

: Oversee loading, discharging, tank cleaning, and chemical handling procedures.

- Inspections

: Prepare vessels for vetting, PSC, audits; conduct shipboard inspections.

- Incident Management

: Investigate accidents/near misses, implement corrective actions.

- Crew Competence

: Assess training, conduct drills, ensure tanker-specific skills.

- Performance Monitoring

: Track fuel efficiency, navigation standards, environmental compliance.

- Liaison

: Act as link between ship, port authorities, and shore management.

Qualifications

- Candidate should have sailed as a Master Mariner on Oil Chemical Vessels.

- 1 to 2 years similar experience as a Marine Superintendent.

- Robust Marine Operations and Vessel Operations skills, with experience in oil and chemical tanker operations.

- Candidates should possess Ship Management capabilities, including coordination with technical teams, dry-docking, maintenance planning, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
