Manager - Operations

Employment Type: Full-time

Base Location: Faridabad and PAN India

Position: Manager - Operations

Education: B.E in Mechanical/Civil Engineering.

Preferrable Experience : 8 to 10 years

Software Skills: Auto Cad 2D & 3D, SolidWorks/Catia, Any 3D Modelling Software, IMOS, COOHOM, Decohub, Dragon cut and M.S Office.

Machine Knowledge : Double Mitre Profile Cutting machine, Drilling machine, Milling machine, Glass Cutting machine, Vacuum/Membrane Press machine, Panel Saw machine, Sanding machine, Edge polish and beveling machine, vinyl cutting machine, Fabric Lamination Glass and Digital Printing Machine respectively.

Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency with enterprise ERP/MRP/SAP systems,

warehouse management tools, and inventory barcoding configurations.

Preferred Languages: English and Hindi.

Desirable Languages: Kannada, Telugu and Tamil.

Job Purpose The Manager Operations directs daily business activities across production, logistics, installation, transport, and R&D;, while enforcing rigorous quality control, 5S/Kaizen methodologies, and ISO compliance. This role ensures total workflow visibility—from raw materials to Work-in-Progress (WIP), Ready to Dispatch status, and scrap auditing—while maintaining strict adherence to standard corporate policies and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities & Core Functions :

1. Production, WIP & Workflow Management :

· Production Scheduling: Direct daily manufacturing workflows to hit output targets and meet timeline deadlines.

· Capacity Planning: Analyze production constraints and scale labor and machinery to balance workload fluctuations.

· Equipment Maintenance: Implement and monitor predictive and preventive maintenance programs for facility machinery.

· WIP Tracking: Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) levels across production lines to identify bottlenecks and balance line capacity.

· Cycle Time Reduction: Optimize manufacturing cycle times and lead times through line-balancing and layout efficiency.

· SOP Adherence: Audit assembly lines daily to ensure technicians strictly follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

· Should be versatile to ready to relocate to any of the branches – PAN India.

· Adhering to the KRA & KPI and acting on time to time basis upgrades and tasks as assigned by the reporting managers.

2. Research & Development (R&D;) & Prototypes :

· Cross-Functional Design:



Collaborate with design engineers to bridge the gap between initial product conceptualization and volume production.

· Prototype Testing: Manage the dedicated pipeline for creating, assembling, and iterating early-stage hardware prototypes.

· DFM Validation: Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews to ensure R&D; outputs can be scaled efficiently in production.

· Material Testing: Validate raw material alternatives for prototypes to optimize durability and cost-efficiency.

· IP Protection: Enforce internal documentation standards to protect trade secrets and intellectual property during testing phases.

3. Logistics, Warehousing & Transport :

· BIN Management: Establish and audit systematic BIN location tracking within the ERP system to maintain 100% warehouse inventory accuracy.

· Inbound Logistics: Manage receiving hubs, freight forwarders, and customs clearance procedures for global materials.

· Fleet Management: Coordinate the internal or third-party (3PL) transport fleet, optimizing routing and fuel efficiency.

· Distribution Oversight: Supervise the dispatching, staging, and packing teams to ensure damage-free cargo preparation.

· Transit Compliance: Enforce Department of Transportation (DOT) and local shipping laws for all physical transport.

4. Ready to Dispatch (RTD) & Finished Goods :

· RTD Verification: Supervise the final staging area to verify that 'Ready to Dispatch' batches match shipping manifests perfectly.

· Pre-Shipment Inspections: Execute final visual and functional packaging audits before cargo is loaded onto transit vehicles.

· Documentation Controls: Ensure all commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of conformance are attached to outgoing shipments.

5. Quality Assurance, Audits & ISO Standards :

· ISO Compliance: Maintain operational alignment with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 ) and coordinate external recertification audits.

· Internal Audits: Schedule and execute routine internal audits across production, warehousing, and installation processes.

· Quality Gates: Manage quality control (QC)



gates at critical manufacturing intervals to capture and flag component defects early.

· CAPA Management: Lead Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) investigations when quality deviations or customer complaints occur.

6. 5S, Kaizen & Continuous Improvement :

· 5S Implementation: Standardize and sustain 5S practices (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) across the shop floor and warehouse.

· 5S Auditing: Conduct weekly 5S scoresheets and audits, publicizing results to drive accountability among team leaders.

· Kaizen Events: Lead cross-functional Kaizen continuous improvement events to optimize workspaces, save time, and reduce waste.

· Visual Management: Deploy visual controls, floor markings, and shadow boards to maintain an organized, self-explaining workspace.

7. Scrap Management & Material Audits :

· Scrap Auditing: Oversee the segregation, categorization, and weighing of production scrap and rejected materials.

· Defect Material Tracking: Document MRB (Material Review Board) actions, isolating non-conforming materials from regular stock.

· Waste Reduction Strategy: Analyze scrap trends to identify root causes of material loss and execute remediation projects.

8. Installation & Field Operations :

· Deployment Scheduling: Coordinate field technician schedules for complex installations, retrofits, and testing at client sites.

· Site Readiness: Review site evaluation checklists and confirm engineering specifications before deploying field teams.

· Safety Protocols: Implement and enforce rigorous OSHA and safety guidelines on-site during hazardous installations.

· Client Handover: Manage post-installation inspections and secure signed sign-off documentation from clients.

· Subcontractor Management: Vet, onboard, and manage external contractors hired for specialized regional installations.

9. Reporting & Governance :

· Executive Dashboards: Compile daily, weekly, and monthly operational KPI reports for the reporting manager and senior leadership.

· Material Variance Reports: Deliver precise BIN discrepancies, WIP valuations, and scrap audit reports to reporting managers.

· Standard Policy Enforcement: Serve as the primary enforcer of corporate compliance, safety mandates, and human resource policies on the floor.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
