Job Title : HR Manager
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Global HR Manager to manage and drive end-to-end HR operations across India, Malaysia, USA, and other global locations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in international HR operations, payroll, compensation & benefits, compliance, employee relations, HR policies, mobility, talent management, and HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Global HR Operations
Manage end-to-end HR operations across India, Malaysia, USA, and other international locations.
Develop and standardize global HR processes while ensuring country-specific requirements are addressed.
Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, promotions, compensation revisions, performance management, and exits.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation across multiple countries.
Partner with business leaders to resolve HR operational and employee-related matters.
2. International Payroll & Benefits
Hands-on management and oversight of India, Malaysia, USA and global payroll processes.
Coordinate with internal teams and external payroll vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
Manage Global Compensation & Benefits (C&B;) programs.
Support salary benchmarking, compensation reviews, increments, bonuses, incentives, allowances, and benefits administration.
Manage country-specific benefits such as insurance, retirement/pension programs, statutory benefits, leave benefits, and other employee benefits.
Review payroll inputs, reconciliations, payroll reports, and statutory deductions.
3. Compensation & Benefits
Design and implement compensation structures aligned with market practices and organizational requirements.
Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis across different geographies.
Develop and manage global compensation frameworks, salary bands, job levels, and grading structures.
Support annual compensation review and promotion cycles.
Manage variable pay, incentives, bonuses, allowances, and expatriate/global mobility compensation where applicable.
4. HR Policies & Compliance
Develop, review, and implement global HR policies and procedures.
Ensure policies comply with applicable employment laws in India, Malaysia, USA, and other operating countries.
Monitor changes in employment legislation and recommend necessary policy/process changes.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to payroll, benefits, leave, working hours, employment contracts, and employee documentation.
Work with legal counsel and external consultants on complex employment and compliance matters.
5. Employee Relations
Manage employee relations issues across multiple geographies.
Handle grievances, disciplinary matters, performance issues, workplace conflicts, and employee concerns.
Partner with managers to ensure consistent and fair application of HR policies.
Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actions when required.
Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
6. Talent Management & Performance Management
Drive global performance management processes.
Support goal setting, performance reviews,
promotions, and succession planning.
Partner with business leaders to identify talent gaps and workforce requirements.
Support talent development, employee engagement, retention, and career development initiatives.
7. Global Mobility & Immigration
Manage employee movement between countries, where applicable.
Coordinate with immigration/legal partners for work permits, visas, relocations, and international assignments.
Support expatriate compensation, relocation benefits, and international employee transfers.
Ensure appropriate documentation and compliance for international mobility.
8. HR Analytics & Reporting
Develop and maintain global HR dashboards and MIS.
Track key metrics such as:
Headcount
Attrition
Hiring
Payroll
Compensation
Employee costs
Leave/absence
Performance
Diversity
Employee engagement
Provide actionable HR insights to senior leadership.
9. HR Systems & Process Improvement
Manage and improve HR processes using HRIS and other HR technology platforms.
Ensure accurate HR data across global locations.
Identify opportunities to automate HR processes and improve employee experience.
Support implementation/upgrades of HRIS, payroll, performance management, and other HR technology platforms.
10. Business Partnering
Act as a strategic HR partner to global business leaders.
Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational structure, compensation, employee relations, and people strategy.
Work closely with Finance, Legal, IT, Operations, and Business Leadership teams.
Support organizational restructuring, workforce expansion, and change-management initiatives.
India
Strong hands-on experience in Indian HR operations and employment practices.
Payroll, statutory compliance, benefits, employee relations, and HR policies.
Familiarity with applicable Indian employment and labour regulations.
Malaysia
Hands-on experience managing Malaysia HR operations.
Malaysia payroll, statutory contributions, employee benefits, leave, employment practices, and compliance.
Experience working with local payroll/HR vendors.
USA
Practical experience managing US HR operations.
US payroll, benefits, employee relations, HR policies, and employment compliance.
Working knowledge of areas such as FLSA, FMLA, ACA, COBRA, EEO, and US state-specific employment requirements.
Experience coordinating with US payroll/benefits providers and HR consultants.
Global
Experience supporting employees across multiple countries.
Ability to understand and implement country-specific HR requirements.
Experience working with global HR vendors, consultants, payroll providers, and legal partners.
Strong understanding of global compensation and benefits practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
Masters degree/MBA in HR preferred.
10-15 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within IT/technology/services organizations.
Proven hands-on experience managing HR operations across India, Malaysia, USA, and other global locations.
Strong experience in Global HR Operations, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, HR Compliance, Employee Relations, and HR Policy Design.
Strong knowledge of international HR practices and country-specific employment requirements.
Experience managing external HR/payroll/benefits vendors.
Strong HR analytics and reporting skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to work with senior leadership and manage sensitive/confidential HR matters.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

12. Talent Acquisition Support
Partner with Talent Acquisition teams on US hiring requirements.
Support offer approvals, compensation benchmarking, background verification, onboarding, and joining formalities.

Support workforce planning and headcount management.
13. Performance Management
Manage and coordinate the annual performance management cycle.
Partner with managers on goal setting, performance reviews, promotions, and development plans.
Support performance improvement processes where required.
14. HRIS & Data Management
Maintain accurate employee information in the HRIS.
Ensure data integrity and timely completion of HR transactions.
Generate HR reports and dashboards related to headcount, attrition, compensation, payroll, and other HR metrics.
Maintain confidentiality and security of employee information.
15. Global HR & Stakeholder Management
Partner with India HR, Finance, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Business Leaders, and other global HR teams.
Support global HR initiatives and ensure alignment between US and India HR processes.
Provide HR insights and recommendations to leadership.
Drive continuous improvement across HR operations.
