Role Description The Manager Cost Control and Quantity Surveying is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role is responsible for managing project cost estimates, preparing detailed budgets, and monitoring expenditures throughout the project lifecycle. The position involves developing and maintaining cost control systems, preparing quantity take-offs, verifying contractor bills, and ensuring accuracy in cost reporting.

The manager will work closely with project management, engineering, and finance teams to track project progress, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions. Daily responsibilities also include reviewing contracts, supporting tender evaluations,



and ensuring that all cost-related documentation complies with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong cost control and cost management skills, with experience in budgeting and cost optimization.
- Proficiency in project control and cost reporting, including tracking progress and preparing regular cost updates.
- Well-developed analytical skills to interpret data, identify variances, and support decision-making.
- Background in quantity surveying, including quantity take-offs, valuation of work, and contractor bill certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience in real estate, infrastructure, or construction projects, preferably in residential or luxury developments.
- Ability to work in office, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools (e.g., MS Excel, cost-control or ERP systems, quantity surveying software).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and adherence to timelines.
