What you will do:
Based in the India Global Capability Center, the Finance & Actuarial Manager will hire, lead, and develop a high-performing team supporting U.S. insurance actuarial activities, with a focus on actuarial modeling and selected valuation and forecasting work.
The role provides people leadership, technical oversight, and disciplined delivery in partnership with India and U.S.-based actuarial leaders.
What you can expect:
- Lead hiring, onboarding, development, performance management, and retention for the India-based modeling actuarial team, establishing clear roles, service expectations, development paths, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the development, execution, maintenance, testing, and documentation of actuarial models supporting valuation, forecasting, pricing, risk management, financial planning, and related activities.
- Guide model enhancement, automation, modernization, user acceptance testing, change management, validation, assumptions, scenarios, technical review, and issue resolution in partnership with U.S.-based stakeholders.
- Drive process optimization using Python and modern analytical tools, improving efficiency, scalability, quality, controls, data stewardship, standardization, and decision support.
- Maintain actuarial, financial, model governance, data, documentation, and control standards, including review evidence, testing records, audit support, production readiness, issue remediation, and timely risk escalation.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Engineering,
or a related quantitative discipline.
- An internationally recognized actuarial designation and five or more years of experience in actuarial or financial modeling, valuation, reserving, forecasting, or insurance finance.
- People leadership, team management, or supervisory experience, with the ability to lead effectively in a global delivery model across multiple time zones.
- Understanding of U.S. life insurance, annuity, retirement, or protection products, related modeling concepts, and familiarity with US GAAP and/or statutory reserving requirements.
- Demonstrated Python and process automation experience, with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

- Experience with Polysystems, AXIS, Prophet, MG-ALFA, or similar actuarial modeling platforms.
- Exposure to integrated modeling, enterprise forecasting, asset liability management, capital, risk, or hedging processes.
- Experience supporting global delivery models, shared services, centers of excellence, or global capability centers.
- Knowledge of model governance, validation, audit, regulatory, and documentation expectations.
- Experience leading transformation, automation, modernization, or process improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, data pipelines, advanced analytics, or AI-enabled productivity tools.
