Maintenance Engineer – Hospital

Experience: 3–4 Years

Qualification: Relevant Engineering/Technical Qualification/Degree

Industry: Hospital / Healthcare

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and supervise electrical systems, including power distribution panels, generators, UPS, and other electrical installations.
- Manage plumbing, drainage, and HVAC systems to ensure smooth hospital operations.
- Ensure regular servicing and compliance of lifts, fire alarms, extinguishers, sprinklers, and firefighting systems.
- Monitor civil maintenance, including building structures, interiors, painting, repairs, and external facilities.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of the STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) and ensure environmental compliance.
- Maintain and monitor the Medical Gas Pipeline System (MGPS) as per hospital safety standards.
- Supervise overhead and underground water tanks, including cleaning, maintenance, and water-quality checks.




- Conduct monthly facility audits and prepare reports with corrective and preventive action plans.
- Maintain AMC records, service reports, calibration records, maintenance documentation, and statutory compliance records.
- Handle breakdowns and emergency maintenance promptly to minimize downtime.
- Participate in fire drills and emergency preparedness activities.
- Provide technical support to hospital operations and train junior maintenance staff.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Preferred Profile: Candidate should have hands-on experience in hospital engineering/facility maintenance, with valuable knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, STP, MGPS, and general building maintenance.
