Mainframe z/OS Systems Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe z/OS Systems Administrator with hands-on expertise in z/OS administration, software installation, upgrades, customization, and production support.

Key Skills:

- IBM z/OS Administration, SMP/E, z/OSMF
- JES2/JES3, TSO, REXX
- RACF, USS, PARMLIB
- Sysplex, CFRM Policies
- IOCP/HCD
- VTAM, TCP/IP, FTP
- z/OS software/hardware installation, upgrades & maintenance
- Production troubleshooting and 24x7 support

Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, customize, test, and support z/OS and ISV products.
- Manage SMP/E environments, software packages, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Configure PARMLIB, USS file systems, Sysplex/CFRM, and RACF.
- Support JES2/JES3, z/OSMF, TSO/REXX, IOCP/HCD,



and mainframe connectivity.
- Handle production issues, upgrades, weekend implementations, and on-call support.
- Coordinate with ISV vendors and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

Preferred ISV/Product Experience: BMC, SFTP, FDS, PKZIP, Precisely StreamWeaver, Finalist, Zena, LRS, or other mainframe ISV products.

Key Requirements: Solid troubleshooting, communication, documentation, coordination, and ability to work independently in a production environment.
