- Quality Control

- Ensure products are manufactured according to approved specifications and quality standards.

- Check basic product parameters during production as instructed.

- Identify defective products, packaging issues, or process abnormalities and report them immediately.

- Follow batch-wise production instructions and specifications.

- Machine Monitoring

- Regularly monitor machine performance during production.

- Check temperature, pressure, speed, weight, filling levels, or other applicable parameters.

- Identify unusual sounds, vibrations, leakage, overheating, or other machine abnormalities.

- Coordinate with the maintenance team for machine breakdowns and repairs.

- Raw Material & Packaging Handling

- Handle raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products carefully.

- Ensure correct materials are being used for each production batch.

- Minimise material wastage during machine operation.

- Maintain proper material handling and storage practices.

- Cleaning & Hygiene

- Clean and sanitise machines and equipment as per the approved cleaning schedule.

- Maintain personal hygiene and follow food safety practices.

- Ensure the production area remains clean and organised.

- Follow GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, and company hygiene requirements.

- Safety

- Follow all machine safety procedures and workplace safety rules.

- Use required PPE such as gloves, hairnets, masks, safety shoes, etc.

- Never operate machinery without proper authorisation or training.

- Immediately report unsafe conditions, machine hazards, or accidents to the supervisor.

- Production Documentation

- Complete machine operation and production records accurately.

- Record production quantities, wastage, downtime, and other required parameters.

- Maintain proper batch documentation as instructed.

- Basic Troubleshooting





- Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting within the scope of training.

- Identify the cause of minor operational issues where applicable.

- Escalate major machine breakdowns to the maintenance team without delay.

- 5S & Housekeeping

- Follow 5S practices in the production area.

- Keep machines, tools, workstations, and surrounding areas clean and organised.

- Ensure tools and equipment are returned to their designated locations after use.

- Team Coordination

- Coordinate with production supervisors, quality, maintenance, stores, and other team members.

- Support smooth changeovers between different products or batches.

- Assist senior operators and supervisors whenever required.

- Continuous Improvement

- Suggest improvements related to machine efficiency, wastage reduction, safety, and productivity.

- Participate in production improvement and training programmes.

- Other Duties

- Perform other production-related duties assigned by the production supervisor or management.

Candidate Profile

Education:

- ITI / Diploma / 10th / 12th pass, depending on machine and production requirements.

- Technical qualification will be an advantage.

Experience:

- 0–3 years of experience as a Machine Operator in food, beverage, FMCG, packaging, or manufacturing industries.

- Freshers with relevant technical training may also be considered.
