Linux Application Support Engineer – Python Automation /n Experience: 3+ Years /n Location: Bangalore /n Job Type: Full-time /n Job Summary /n Terralogic is looking for a skilled Linux & Python Automation Engineer to administer, support, and enhance Linux-based tools, applications, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Linux administration, Python development, scripting, application support, troubleshooting, and automation. /n The role involves working closely with Engineering, Quality, PMO, and IT teams to support critical applications, automate operational processes, resolve technical issues, and drive continuous process improvements. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Administer, maintain, and support Linux-based tools, applications, and infrastructure.

/n

- Develop, enhance, and maintain Python scripts and applications to automate operational and engineering processes.

/n

- Manage tool deployments, upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.

/n

- Troubleshoot and resolve tool, application, database, and operating system issues.

/n

- Collaborate with engineering, quality, PMO, and IT teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

/n

- Maintain security compliance, access controls, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.

/n

- Support users by responding to incidents, service requests, and enhancement requests

/n /n Required Qualifications /n /n

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

/n

- 3+ years of experience supporting business or engineering applications and tools.

/n

- Strong Linux administration experience (Red Hat,



Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, or equivalent).

/n

- Strong Python development skills for automation, scripting, and application support.

/n

- Experience troubleshooting Linux servers, applications, services, and network connectivity issues.

/n

- Experience with shell scripting (Bash or equivalent).

/n

- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle preferred).

/n

- Experience with source code management tools such as Git.

/n

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

/n

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced environment.
