Role Description The LIC Agent (Sell One LIC Policy per Week) role is a full time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The agent is responsible for identifying prospective clients, explaining LIC’s insurance products, and helping customers select policies that meet their financial protection and savings needs. Daily activities include meeting clients in person, conducting financial needs assessments, providing product information, and completing policy documentation.
The role requires consistent follow-up with existing and potential policyholders, maintaining accurate records of client interactions, and meeting weekly sales targets.
The agent also coordinates with branch staff to process applications, resolve customer queries, and stay informed about new products and regulatory updates.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to effectively promote and explain life insurance products.
- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and Finance to understand policy structures, premiums, and long-term financial planning.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to build trust, handle inquiries, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
- Ability to work toward sales targets, with self-motivation, discipline, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Basic computer literacy for managing client data, online applications, and digital communication.
- Previous experience in insurance, banking, or financial services is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Minimum educational qualification as per LIC requirements; local language proficiency and knowledge of the New Delhi market are beneficial.
