Role Description

This is a contract-based, role for a Legal Consultant at iWills India at DELHI.

The Legal

Consultant will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and validating will documents and related legal content, providing accurate advice on succession and inheritance matters, and supporting customers with legal queries.



The role involves close collaboration with product, operations, and technology teams to ensure all legal workflows remain compliant with applicable Indian laws and best practices, while proactively identifying and mitigating legal risks.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in legal document drafting and review, particularly wills and estate-related documents
- Ability to provide clear and accurate legal advice and assistance to clients
- Strong understanding of Indian succession laws and related legal frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Experience in estate planning, inheritance law, or legal-tech platforms is a plus
- Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent qualification)
- Ability to work independently and responsibly in a remote, contract-based environment
