Role Description The Legal Associate will work on-site in Mysore in a full-time capacity, supporting the legal operations that power NirnAI’s mortgage lending platform. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents related to property, lending, and regulatory compliance, ensuring accuracy and consistency across workflows.

The Legal

Associate will analyze legal issues in KYC, title searches, and property evaluations, and provide clear, well-reasoned inputs to internal stakeholders and external partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with product, operations, and client teams to resolve legal queries,



maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, and contributing to the refinement of standardized legal processes. The role also requires careful documentation, adherence to compliance requirements, and active participation in improving legal workflows within a tech-enabled environment.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Law and familiarity with legal issues related to property, lending, and compliance.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, opinions, and reports.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for evaluating legal risks, interpreting regulations, and supporting decision-making.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); LL.M or specialized coursework in banking, finance, or property law is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Mysore and manage multiple matters with attention to detail and timelines.
- Comfort working in a technology-driven environment; experience with digital legal workflows or legal tech tools is beneficial.
- Strong ethical judgment, commitment to confidentiality, and adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.
