About the Role

Omega Hires is looking for an experienced Senior US IT Recruiter with strong expertise in niche IT, engineering, and highly specialized technical requirements . The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of sourcing, screening, and placing candidates for complex US-based requirements.

This role requires a recruiter who can understand technical job descriptions, identify specialized talent, work closely with hiring managers and clients, and manage the recruitment process from sourcing through placement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for US IT, Engineering, and niche technical requirements .
- Source candidates for specialized and difficult-to-fill positions using LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, job boards, Boolean searches, referrals, and internal databases .
- Review and understand complex technical job descriptions and identify the key skills required.
- Conduct detailed initial screening calls to evaluate technical experience, communication, availability, location, compensation, and work authorization.
- Build strong pipelines for niche and hard-to-find technical skill sets.
- Work on requirements across areas such as:
- Software Engineering
- Cloud & DevOps
- Data Engineering
- AI/ML
- Cybersecurity
- Infrastructure & Networking
- Embedded Systems
- Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Automation & Controls
- Other specialized engineering and technical roles
- Coordinate technical interviews and client interviews.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Negotiate compensation, notice periods, and joining timelines.




- Manage multiple requirements simultaneously while meeting submission and closure targets.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, ATS updates, recruitment trackers, and daily activity reports.
- Work closely with Account Managers, Business Development teams, and clients to understand hiring priorities.
- Ensure a high-quality candidate experience and successful offer closures.

Required Skills & Experience
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience in US IT Recruitment.
- Strong experience working on niche, specialized, and difficult-to-fill IT requirements .
- Proven experience recruiting for engineering and technical positions in the US market.
- Strong understanding of US recruitment processes and staffing practices.
- Excellent sourcing skills using LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, Boolean Search, and other recruitment platforms .
- Strong technical screening and candidate evaluation skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and identify relevant candidates.
- Experience handling the complete recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to placement.
- Robust knowledge of US work authorization including H1B, OPT, CPT, EAD, GC, and US Citizens .
- Excellent communication, negotiation, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and consistently achieve recruitment targets.

Education Required: Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

Candidates with a strong technical education and relevant US recruitment experience will be preferred. Location & Relocation
