Role Description The Language Teacher will deliver engaging online lessons to learners across different age groups and proficiency levels, using Bhasha.io’s digital tools and structured curriculum.

Responsibilities include planning and organizing lessons, adapting teaching methods to individual learner needs, assessing progress through assignments and feedback, and maintaining accurate records of learner performance. The role involves creating a supportive virtual classroom environment, collaborating with the academic team to refine teaching materials,



and participating in periodic training or meetings. This is a full-time remote role that requires consistent availability during scheduled class hours and reliable communication with learners and the internal team.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in Language Teaching and Teaching, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt methods for diverse learners.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education, including designing structured lessons and aligning content with defined learning outcomes.
- Background or interest in Literature, with the ability to incorporate texts, stories, and cultural references into lessons where relevant.
- Fluency in at least one of Bhasha.io’s target languages (e.g., Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Telugu, Bengali, Malayalam, Gujarati, or English) and strong command of English for communication and documentation.
- Prior experience in online or classroom teaching, preferably in language instruction, and familiarity with digital teaching platforms or video conferencing tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a learner-centric approach, patience, and cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage schedules effectively, and maintain a professional online presence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Education, Literature, or a related field; teaching certifications or training in language education are an advantage.
