About the Role

Techwise Digital Private Ltd is seeking an experienced KYC Maker to join our team representing a premier global investment bank. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting end-to-end KYC due diligence and client onboarding across key APAC entities, ensuring strict adherence to global compliance standards and financial security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

* KYC Due Diligence: Perform complete KYC due diligence for new client relationships across Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Malaysia, Australia, Taiwan, and Japan entities.

- Screening & Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive background checks, focusing on Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) screenings, sanctions, and adverse media/news to safeguard the bank’s reputation.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Liaise directly with the Front Office and clients to collect and verify required KYC documents and information efficiently.
- Complex Case Escalations: Prepare and manage escalations for complex or high-risk cases to APAC Financial Security for technical advice, clarification, or final validation.
- Team Mentorship: Provide ongoing guidance, knowledge sharing,



and support on KYC regulations to junior team members and cross-functional departments.
- Data Maintenance & Static Data: Accurately input and maintain client static data and account information within the bank’s KYC databases.
- MIS & Reporting: Ensure meticulous maintenance of statistics for timely MIS/ad-hoc reporting and participate in periodic KYC status reconciliations.
- Ad-hoc Compliance Operations: Execute ad-hoc screenings and other compliance duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications & Key Requirements

* Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience in KYC, Client Onboarding, or Anti-Money Laundering (AML) within Investment Banking or Corporate Banking.

- Domain Expertise: Solid understanding of APAC region regulatory frameworks (e.g., HKMA, MAS, ASIC, etc.).
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with PEP screening databases, adverse media search tools, and corporate registry verification across Asian markets.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise with senior internal stakeholders and Front Office teams.
