Job Summary

PIV is looking for an experienced Konkani Content Writer to join our content team in Goa. The ideal candidate should have excellent command of Konkani and a strong understanding of Goa's local audience, culture, current affairs, and political landscape.

The candidate should have experience in political or current-affairs content and be able to research trending topics and turn them into engaging, accurate, and audience-focused content for social media.

Key Responsibilities

- Research political, current-affairs, local, and trending topics related to Goa.
- Write engaging and original Konkani content for social media platforms.
- Create content based on news, current events, trends, and project requirements.
- Understand the local Goan audience and create content that connects with them.
- Adapt content according to the tone, audience, and requirements of different pages and projects.
- Coordinate with video editors, graphic designers, and other team members for content execution.
- Prepare scripts and provide creative inputs for videos and social media posts.
- Handle content requirements for assigned social media pages.
- Stay updated with Goa's politics, local issues, current affairs, and social media trends.
- Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and quality.




- Manage multiple content requirements and ensure timely delivery.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional content-writing experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience or robust knowledge in political/current-affairs content.
- Excellent command of Konkani, both written and verbal.
- Good command of English and Hindi.
- Strong understanding of Goa's local culture, audience, politics, and current affairs.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Good understanding of social media content and audience engagement.
- Ability to identify trending topics and develop engaging content from them.
- Ability to work closely with editors, designers, and other creative team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in political, news, media, or social media content.
- Knowledge of Goa's local issues and political environment.
- Experience managing or creating content for social media pages.
- Ability to write in a conversational and engaging style for a local audience.

Salary ₹30,000 – ₹55,000 per month, depending on experience, skills, and interview performan

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
